The president says he “takes great care of” ghost apples on his Maine golf course, and says he has “taken care of many other things” during his visit.
The AP reports that the president has visited an estate and a home, as well as an airport.
The AP reports the president is “wishing all of the citizens of Maine a great Christmas.”
Trump said in a statement that he “had a great time with my wife and daughter, and I wish the residents of the towns and cities in Maine the best of luck in the new year.”
He also said the “great work” he’s done “has been tremendous and I have the utmost respect for all the folks who have helped me along the way.”
He added: “It is a wonderful, peaceful, and beautiful country.

Trump has visited the ghost apple at his golf course in New York.
A Trump spokeswoman told the AP that the “tongue in cheek” comment was meant to be humorous.
She said that “as the president said, I have ‘taken great care’ of many of the things that I have done during my visit to Maine, and that he would like to thank them all.”
